Crack Green Beans

  • 5 cans 8 oz green beans
  • 12 slices of bacon cooked to be crispy
  • C light brown sugar-packed
  • ¼ C unsalted butter
  • 7 tsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 ½ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9X13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray and set aside. 
  2. Add the butter to a saucepan and melt it on the stovetop. 
  3. Combine garlic powder and brown sugar in a small bowl. 
  4. Add the melted butter and low-sodium soy sauce to the garlic powder mixture. Stir to combine. 
  5. Crumble the cooked bacon. 
  6. Add the green beans and bacon crumbs to the casserole dish. Add the butter mixture over the contents of the casserole dish. Bake for 40 minutes. Let it cool before cutting a piece.
