Crunchy Chicken Casserole

Are you looking for a simple dish that can be a stand-alone meal? The baked chicken noodle casserole is exactly that. Simple, delicious, and comes with a variety of ingredients.

  • 2 cups Chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked according to package directions
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, freshly shredded, divided
  • 1 ½ cups French Fried Onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 10-inch baking dish. 
  2. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions and transfer them to a bowl. 
  3. Add sour cream, shredded chicken, soup, half cheese, and garlic powder. Mix well until combined. 
  4. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven and add remaining cheese and french-fried onions.
  6. Bake for 10 more minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
