- 9-inch frozen or unbaked pie crust
- 3 large eggs, at room temperature
- 2½ cups roughly chopped pecans
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 1 cup corn syrup, light or dark
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Put the nuts in the pie shell.
- Mix the eggs with the corn syrup, sugar, butter, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
- Pour this over the pecans.
- Bake for 55 minutes to an hour, or until the middle jiggles just a little and the edges are fully set.
- Cool for 2 hours then serve.
