- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1¼ cups buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 6 tablespoons salted butter
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
- Mix the dry ingredients together.
- Cut the butter into slices and rub it into the flour using your fingers.
- Slowly pour in the buttermilk and mix until only just combined.
- Knead the resulting dough on a floured work surface.
- Roll out to ½-inch thickness and cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
