Italian Cream Cake

Who doesn’t love a good cake? With classic vanilla flavor, it is a recipe that has become a family favorite. The itchiness of the homemade cream cheese frosting absorbs into the cake layers, making them moist. The paper is very straightforward and does not require much time.   • 1 Box White Cake Mix
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ¼ cup Buttermilk
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • 1 ½ cups. Coconut Shredded
  • ¾ cup chopped pecans

For The Frosting:

  • 4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 16 Oz. Cream Cheese Softened
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Butter Softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray two 9-inch cake pans with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. 
  2. Add the white cake mix, vanilla, oil, and eggs into a mixing bowl. Mix well to combine the batter. Add the coconut and chopped pecans into the batter and carefully fold in.
  3. Divide the batter between the two greased pans. 
  4.  Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the cake layers are thoroughly cooked. Let them cool completely before assembling the cake.
  5.  Once the cake layers are completely cooled, you can remove them from the pans. 
  6. Add the cream cheese, vanilla extract, softened butter, and powdered sugar to a mixing bowl. Beat with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy. 
  7. Place one cake layer over a cake plate. Spread some frosting over the cake layer and add the second layer. 
  8. Spread the frosting over the top and sides. Let it chill before you cut a piece, and enjoy!
