Loaded Cheesy Pocket Tacos

All right, who is up for some simple and delicious pocket tacos? I love the simple and quick recipes you can make to serve a crowd. And the loaded cheesy pocket tacos are exactly that. Being delicious, they are a real crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet of Taco Seasoning
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup salsa
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 12  6-inch tortillas
  • Sour cream, salsa, green onions, all toppings optional

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef until brown. Make sure to crumble it with a wooden spoon. When brown, drain the excess grease. 
  2. Add taco seasoning. Mix well. Add cream cheese into a bowl and beat until smooth. Mix in the salsa. 
  3. Lay a tortilla over your working surface and add a spoon of the cream cheese in the center.
  4. Add some of the cooked beef. Top with shredded cheese and fold the burrito. 
  5. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease your baking tray.
  6. Add the tortillas to the baking tray and brush them with melted butter on top.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden. Add your preferred toppings and serve!
