Peachy Peach Dumplings

Are you looking for simple recipes that don’t require much time? The Peachy Peach Dumplings are the perfect choice when you don’t have enough time but still want to treat yourself to something sweet. They are popular in the southern states, and today, I will share the recipe with you.

Ingredients

  •  2 large cans of Peaches, drained
  •  2 tubes of crescent roll dough
  •  2 sticks butter
  •  ⅔ cup light brown sugar
  •  ⅔ cup granulated sugar
  •  3 tsp ground cinnamon, combined with the granulated sugar
  •  1 ½ cups Sprite or another brand of lemon-lime soda
  •  Vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking pan. Separate the crescent dough into triangles and place one or two peach slices on the long end of the crescent rolls.
  2. Add sugar and cinnamon over each. Roll the dough around the peaches and press the end to secure it.
  3. Align the dough over the greased baking sheet. Once you’re done with that, add the butter to a microwave-safe bowl and melt it in the microwave.
  4. Brush the dumplings with a generous amount of melted butter. Pour the soda in the baking dish around the crescent roll dough and not on the top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until it is light golden.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
