- 2 cans Pillsbury crescent roll dough
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chopped fresh tomatoes
- 1 handful shredded iceberg lettuce
- Chopped green onions and sour cream, to serve
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet on the stove until completely browned, draining off the excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning.
- Unroll the dough and layer it in a 9-inch square baking dish.
- It’s fine if you don’t use it all.
- Add the beef on top of the dough and top with the cheese.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the crescent roll dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Cool for 10 minutes and then top with the tomatoes and lettuce.
- Serve with sour cream and chopped green onions.
