Shrimp Tortellini Alfredo Skillet

Cheesy Shrimp Tortellini Alfredo Skillet is a simple recipe to try when you want to impress someone with your cooking. The buttery shrimp tossed in aromatic alfredo sauce accompanied with tortellini is one of the quick and simple recipes to make during busy weeknights.

  • 1 pound package cheese tortellini pasta cooked and drained
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp. salted butter
  • 1 Roma tomato diced
  • 2 leaves basil minced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add 3 tablespoons of butter into a large skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add the shrimp and saute for 3 minutes. 
  2. Add tomato, cloves, and basil. Mix well to combine. Cook for 2 minutes and add 1 tablespoon of flour. Mix to combine and until there are no visible lumps. 
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and add parmesan cheese. Mix to combine. 
  4. Add the cooked cheese-tortellini pasta and mix to coat it in the sauce. Serve and enjoy!
