Walking Tacos Recipe

Children love these tacos in a bag! Deliciously simple! These are great for camping, parties and as a super simple weeknight supper!

  • Yield: Serves 12 1x

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Jack cheese, grated
  • 1 pound extra lean ground beef
  • ½ package of taco seasoning
  • 12 bags of corn or tortilla chips

Instructions

    You will also need: Your favourite taco toppings such as sliced black olives chopped tomatoes, sour cream, chopped green onions, salsa, shredded lettuce, guacamole, etc.

    1. Add the ground beef to a heated skillet. Cook over medium heat, breaking I up with a fork or wooden spoon until no pink remains. Add the taco seasoning and continue to brown until thoroughly cooked through.
    2. To serve carefully open the top of each bag of chips. Top with a portion of the cooked ground beef and the grated cheese. Add toppings as desired. Enjoy!
