Blackberry Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 8 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • ¼ cup Dark Brown Sugar Packed
  • 1 ½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder Rounded
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 ¼ cup whole Milk

Filling:

  • 3 ½ cup Fresh Blackberries
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon Ground
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose Flour
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and grease a 10-inch cast iron skillet with baking spray.
  2. Add the butter to the skillet and melt it in the oven.
  3. Add the brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and 1 ½ all-purpose flour in a mixing bowl. Mix to combine. 
  4. Add the milk and mix well to combine.
  5. Add the flour mixture over the melted butter, ensuring it is spread evenly. 
  6. Combine the blackberries, vanilla, cinnamon, 2 tbsp all-purpose flour, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  7. Add the blackberry mixture over the crust in the skillet. 
  8. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the crust has a golden color. Serve warm and enjoy.
