- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 cup beef broth
- 10¾-ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 package (0.8 to 1 ounce) brown gravy mix
- 1 diced small onion
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch whisked with 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Mix together the soup, broth, gravy mix, garlic, and onion with a whisk. Don’t worry if there are lumps.
- Put the meat into a 4-quart slow cooker and pour the gravy mixture on top. Stir.
- Cover and cook for about 7 hours on low.
- Take out the beef using a slotted spoon and set aside.
- Stir in the cornstarch mixture to thicken the gravy, then put the beef back in the crockpot and cook for 5 more minutes.
- Serve hot, over mashed potatoes, rice or egg noodles.
