Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 TBS baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ cup butter, at room temperature
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450*F. Line a baking sheet with baking parchment. Alternately prepare a large (14-inch) pizza pan accordingly.
- Measure all of the ingredients into the bowl of a stand mixer. Using the dough hook, mix on low speed until a ball begins to form. (The dough may be quite sticky.)
- Tip out onto a well-floured board and shape into a ball or rectangle using well-floured hands.
- Transfer to the baking sheet or the pizza pan.
- Roll out to either a rectangle or a round in the desired pan. You can use your floured hands to press it out if that is easier. Using a 12 by 15 inch baking tin, I got a crust which was approximately ¼ inch thick. (Remember it is going to rise a fair bit in the oven.)
- Spread with your preferred Pizza Sauce and toppings.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown around the edges and on the bottom.
- Cool slightly and cut into wedges to enjoy!
