Egg Roll Stir Fry

Are you ready to prepare a delicious Egg Roll Stir Fry with an abundance of flavors? The Asian-style dish draws its inspiration from traditional egg rolls. They are made of meat and vegetables stuffed in dough and then fried to create a crunchy crust. Then, the stuffed dough ball is served along with aromatic dips and sauces.

  • 1 ½ lbs. Ground beef
  • ¼ C. Soy sauce
  • 1 C. Chopped onion
  • 1 Bag shredded cabbage coleslaw mix
  • ½ C. Shredded carrots
  • 3 tsp. Minced garlic
  • 2 tsp. Ginger paste
  • 2 Tbsp. Sesame oil
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high. 
  2. Cook the onion and ground beef. When the meat is halfway there, add the shredded carrot. Continue until the meat is brown and the onion is tender. 
  3. Add the shredded cabbage and mix. Cook until the cabbage is slightly softened. 
  4. Combine the soy sauce, ginger paste, minced garlic, and remaining tablespoon of sesame oil in a small mixing bowl. 
  5. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the beef mixture in the skillet and mix. 
  6. Cook for about 5 minutes and serve topped with green onion.
