- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1 tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 lb. medium shrimp peeled and deveined
- 3 cups cooked white rice
- 2 cups of frozen peas and carrots defrosted
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 large egg whisked
- 2 tbsp. Sliced green onions
Instructions
- Wash the shrimp and set aside.
- Prepare the white rice according to the instructions indicated on the package and set aside.
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and cook for a minute.
- Add the peas mixture and shrimp to the skillet. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
- Mix the soy sauce and sesame oil in a small bowl.
- Add the soy sauce mixture and prepared rice into the skillet and cook for 4 minutes.
- Push the content of the skillet to one side with a wooden spoon.
- Add the egg to the empty section. Stir it until cooked.
- Stir in the cooked egg in the mixture. Top with sliced green onions and serve.
