Prepare the pan:
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper, letting the edges hang over the sides for easy removal later.
Melt the base:
- Fill a pot with a few inches of water and bring it to a gentle boil. Place a heatproof bowl or dish on top of the pot, ensuring it doesn’t touch the water.
Combine ingredients:
- Add the melted butter, mini marshmallows, and white chocolate chips to the bowl. Stir frequently until fully melted and smooth. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.

Add the gumdrops:
- Gently fold the halved gumdrops into the marshmallow and chocolate mixture until evenly distributed.

Form the bars:
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a piece of parchment paper to press and smooth the surface evenly.

Set:
- Allow the mixture to rest overnight at room temperature to fully set.
Slice and serve:
- Lift the edges of the parchment paper to remove the nougat from the pan. Slice into bars and enjoy!
