4 Ingredients Nougat Bars

Sometimes, the simplest recipes are the most indulgent, and these 4-Ingredient Nougat Bars are proof of that. With just a handful of pantry staples, you can create a sweet treat that’s chewy, nutty, and utterly irresistible.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 bags mini marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 ½ cups red and green gumdrops halved
  • 2 bags white chocolate chips

Method
 

Prepare the pan:
  1. Line a baking dish with parchment paper, letting the edges hang over the sides for easy removal later.
Melt the base:
  1. Fill a pot with a few inches of water and bring it to a gentle boil. Place a heatproof bowl or dish on top of the pot, ensuring it doesn’t touch the water.
Combine ingredients:
  1. Add the melted butter, mini marshmallows, and white chocolate chips to the bowl. Stir frequently until fully melted and smooth. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
Add the gumdrops:
  1. Gently fold the halved gumdrops into the marshmallow and chocolate mixture until evenly distributed.
Form the bars:
  1. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a piece of parchment paper to press and smooth the surface evenly.
Set:
  1. Allow the mixture to rest overnight at room temperature to fully set.
Slice and serve:
  1. Lift the edges of the parchment paper to remove the nougat from the pan. Slice into bars and enjoy!
