Method
Preheat and prep:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Cook the beef:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and chopped onions, sautéing until the beef is fully cooked and the onions are softened. Drain any excess fat.

Add flavor and creaminess:
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, cream cheese, oregano, sugar-free ketchup, and salt and pepper. Continue to cook, stirring until the cream cheese melts and the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Layer the casserole:
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.

Prepare the custard layer:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and the heavy whipping cream. Pour this mixture over the meat layer in the casserole dish.

Add toppings:
- Arrange the dill pickle slices evenly over the custard layer. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese and the cooked bacon pieces on top.

Bake:
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.

Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. This casserole is best enjoyed warm, straight from the dish.

- Enjoy!
