Ingredients
  

  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 8 oz tub whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 21 oz can cherry pie filling
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans optional

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated and the mixture is silky.
  3. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until the mixture is light and airy.
  4. Stir in the cherry pie filling, mini marshmallows, and chopped pecans (if using), mixing just until evenly combined.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the fluff to firm up.
