Ingredients
  

  • 18 oz frozen corn thawed
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and cream cheese together, stirring until smooth.
  3. Whisk in the milk until the mixture is creamy.
  4. Stir in salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if using.
  5. Fold in the thawed corn and mix until evenly coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
