Cream Dream Puffs

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 tablespoons butter 1 stick
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
FOR THE FILLING:
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding 3.4 ounces

Method
 

  1. Put the butter, water, sugar, and vanilla in a pan and bring to a boil.
  2. Stir in the flour and keep stirring and cooking until it forms a ball.
  3. Remove the mixture from the pan and cool.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  5. Now beat one egg at a time into the cooled flour mixture.
  6. Drop tablespoons of the mixture on to parchment paper lined baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Turn the oven heat down to 350 degrees F and cook for another 15 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and cut a slit into the side of each one with a sharp knife.
  10. Let them cool completely.
  11. Beat the filling ingredient together until thick and then pipe or scoop it into the cooled puffs.
  12. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
