Course: Appetizer, Side Dish, Snack
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • ½ cup cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls

Method

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C)
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with nonstick spray.
Make the filling:
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is evenly mixed and creamy.
  2. Prepare the crescent rolls: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
Fill and roll:
  1. Spoon a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle. Starting at the wide end, roll the dough up toward the point, tucking in the filling as you go. Place each roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake:
  1. Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
Serve:
  1. Let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm as an appetizer, snack, or easy dinner!
  2. Enjoy!
