Crock Pot Chicken & Stuffing Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 14 ounce bag of dried seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 medium onion peeled and diced
  • ½ cup diced celery
  • ½ cup dried cranberries optional
  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup 10 ounces each
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ tsp ground sage
  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Hot gravy to serve

Method
 

  1. Spray the ceramic insert of a slow cooker with some non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Dump the stuffing mix into a bowl. Add the onion, celery, cream of chicken soup, dried cranberries, and chicken broth, stirring everything together completely. Spoon this mixture into the slow cooker,
  3. Sprinkle the sage over top.
  4. Lay the chicken breasts on top of everything, seasoning them with some salt and black pepper. Cover and cook on low for 4 ½ hours, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Shred the chicken or slice into pieces. Stir everything together and serve immediately with your favourite gravy, hot and ready to ladle over top!
