Cook the linguini noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it up as it cooks.
Add the ginger paste and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the beef broth, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and season with pepper and red pepper flakes to taste. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10–15 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Add the cooked linguini noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until the noodles are fully coated with the sauce.
Serve immediately, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
