French Garlic Philly Cheesesteak Bread takes all the delicious elements of a classic Philly cheesesteak and transforms them into a shareable, easy-to-make appetizer or meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf frozen French garlic bread
  • 12 oz Philly cheesesteak meat thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • Garlic powder onion powder, salt, and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven and bake the garlic bread according to package instructions. Leave the oven on when the bread is done.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the Philly cheesesteak meat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Set the meat aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add a little olive oil and sauté the chopped bell pepper and onion until tender.
  5. Slice the baked garlic bread in half lengthwise and layer some shredded provolone cheese on the bottom half.
  6. Spread the cooked meat, onions, and peppers evenly over the cheese. Top with the remaining cheese and the top half of the bread if desired.
  7. Return the assembled bread to the oven and bake for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Slice and serve hot.
