Fried Pickles

Whatever it is, fried pickles have a way of turning ordinary snack time into a mini celebration—and that’s exactly why I love this recipe. It’s simple, quick, and always delivers a crispy, flavorful bite that keeps me coming back for more.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 jar dill pickle chips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a deep-sided skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, egg, chicken broth, salt, and pepper until smooth. The batter should resemble thick pancake batter.
  3. Dip each pickle chip into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
  4. Fry the battered pickles in the hot oil for 3–5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
