Method
Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Dough Base:
- Unroll both cans of crescent rolls and press the dough into a large rectangle on the prepared baking sheet, sealing any perforations and pressing seams together to form one solid crust.

Make the Cream Cheese Filling:
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the Danish:
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough, leaving about a 1-inch border around the edges. Spoon the pie filling evenly on top of the cream cheese layer.

Fold the Edges:
- Carefully fold the edges of the dough over the filling to create a border around the Danish, pinching to seal if needed.

Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Cool and Serve:
- Let the Danish cool for 10–15 minutes. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar before slicing and serving.
