Melt the Butter and Cream Cheese:
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and cream cheese. Stir continuously until both melt completely and the mixture is smooth. Don’t worry if it looks a bit separated at first—just keep stirring gently and it will come together.

Add the Milk:
- Slowly pour in the milk while whisking constantly to keep the sauce smooth. Continue to cook and whisk until the mixture thickens slightly—this should take about 2–3 minutes.

Incorporate the Parmesan:
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Keep whisking until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is creamy and well blended. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash more milk until your desired consistency is reached.

Serve Immediately:
- Remove from heat and serve the Alfredo sauce warm over your favorite pasta, steamed vegetables, or use as a base for other creamy dishes.
