Ingredients

  • 1 lb spaghetti noodles
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 8 oz cottage cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • Parmesan cheese to taste

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the spaghetti noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper, then drain off any excess grease.
  4. Stir the spaghetti sauce into the cooked beef and set aside.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  6. Pour the melted butter evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  7. Layer half of the cooked spaghetti over the butter.
  8. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the noodles.
  9. Add the remaining spaghetti on top of the cheese layer.
  10. Pour the meat sauce evenly over the noodles, spreading it to cover completely.
  11. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top to taste.
  12. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly golden.
  13. Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
  14. Enjoy!
