Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
Prepare the batter:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, granulated sugar, and baking powder.

- In another bowl, whisk the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter until combined.

- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until smooth and combined. Do not overmix.

- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Make the topping:
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon until well blended and crumbly.

- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the batter in the pan.

- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the cake is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean (some gooeyness around the topping is expected).
Prepare the glaze:
- While the cake bakes, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

- Cool the cake for about 10 minutes after baking, then drizzle the glaze evenly over the top.
- Let the cake cool completely before slicing to allow the glaze to set and the flavors to meld.
