Sausage Hashbrown Bites

These little breakfast nuggets are a game-changer for busy mornings, brunches, or even snack time. Imagine tender, golden hashbrowns wrapped around flavorful breakfast sausage, baked until crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—each bite bursting with cheesy, meaty goodness.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ cups Bisquick mix
  • 1 lb. ground breakfast sausage uncooked
  • 4 cups shredded frozen hashbrowns
  • 8 oz. cream cheese softene

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cheddar cheese, Bisquick mix, ground sausage, shredded hashbrowns, and softened cream cheese. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, form the mixture into evenly sized balls, about 1–2 inches in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the sausage is fully cooked and the bites are golden brown on top.
  5. Allow the bites to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm as a breakfast treat, appetizer, or snack!
