Ingredients
Method
Optional Browning:
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the beef pieces on all sides. This adds extra flavor but can be skipped if you prefer a simpler method.
Load the Slow Cooker:
- Transfer the beef to your slow cooker. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, and the bay leaf. Stir to combine.

Cook:
- Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours, or until the beef is tender and can be easily shredded with a fork.
Add Noodles:
- About 30 minutes before serving, remove the bay leaf and stir in the egg noodles.

Thicken the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and water to create a slurry. Stir it into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
Add Flavor:
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce and mix well. Continue cooking for another 30 minutes, or until the noodles are tender and the sauce has thickened.
Serve:
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired, alongside a side of steamed vegetables or a crisp salad.

- Enjoy!
