Prepare your workspace:
- Lay out a couple of sheets of wax paper or parchment paper on your countertop. This is where your praline treats will set and cool.
Make the praline base:
- In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, evaporated milk, corn syrup, butter, and salt. Stir over medium heat until the butter melts and the ingredients are well blended.

Boil to perfection:
- Bring the mixture to a full rolling boil. Let it bubble for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. This helps it reach that perfect, chewy praline consistency.
Add flavor and texture:
- Remove the pot from heat. Stir in the toasted pecans, shredded coconut, and vanilla extract until evenly combined.

Portion the pralines:
- Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared wax paper. Don’t worry about making them perfectly round—the rustic look is part of their charm!

Cool and set:
- Allow the pralines to cool completely until firm to the touch. This usually takes about 20–30 minutes.
Serve and enjoy:
- Once set, your coconut pecan pralines are ready to enjoy. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate for longer freshness.

- Enjoy!
