Ingredients

Steak Bites:
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/4 lbs steak ribeye, sirloin, strip, or tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley minced
Mustard Dipping Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Maille Old Style mustard
  • 1 –2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 clove garlic finely grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Make the sauce:
  1. In a small bowl, mix sour cream, mustard, hot sauce, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
Cook the steak bites:
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the steak to the skillet (in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding) and cook 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook 1–2 minutes, stirring, until steak bites are coated in the garlic-butter sauce.
Serve:
  1. Plate the steak bites, drizzle any remaining garlic butter over them, and sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately with the mustard dipping sauce on the side.
  2. Enjoy!
