We cooked everything in one pot, mixing the spaghetti and chicken into the creamy sauce. The chicken spaghetti is a meal perfect for any time of the year and any occasion. We can envision this meal served on your al fresco dining table for the spring gatherings. Or it could make a nice choice to bring to a potluck. With all that creamy sauce and tender chicken, no one will know that you spent only 30 minutes in your kitchen. Are you ready to reveal the simple process and our tips? Let’s get straight to cooking!

What makes this recipe so unique?

The amazing chicken spaghetti is a hearty meal prepared in one pot. Hooray! That means fewer dishes for you and quicker cooking time. We cook the chicken and spaghetti individually before smothering them in creamy sauce. With tomatoes, creamy soup, and gooey cheese, the pasta dish becomes the ultimate choice when craving carb foods.

What to serve it with?

Chicken spaghetti is a meal rich in carbs so you would want something to freshen it up. We would recommend a simple side salad, steamed veggies, or a vegetable casserole.

Can I make it ahead of time?

The creamy pasta isn’t one of those meals to make ahead of time. The pasta will absorb the creamy sauce and become mushy so this meal is meant to be eaten straightaway. But if you really need to make it ahead of time, prepare the sauce and past individually, toss them when ready to serve, and warm them on the stovetop.

Ingredients needed:

  • Chicken breasts
  • Velveeta cheese
  • Rotel tomatoes
  • Spaghetti pasta
  • Butter
  • Chicken soup
  • Cream of mushroom soup
  • Onion
  • Bell pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to make Amazing Chicken Spaghetti:

Step 1. Cook the skinless chicken breasts in a pot with salted water for 10-12 minutes. Remove and set aside but don’t drain the liquid. Chop the boiled chicken into small pieces once cooled.

Step 2. Cook the spaghetti in the same liquid you cooked the chicken. Follow the instructions and drain when fully cooked. Set aside.

Step 3. Put the empty pot on the stovetop and melt the butter. Cook the bell pepper and onion until tender.

Step 4. Add the chicken soup, mushroom soup, tomatoes, and cooked spaghetti.

Mix well to combine.

Step 5. Add cheese and mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Leave the pot on heat and stir until the cheese melts.
