Egg rolls are usually savory, of course, but that doesn’t mean you have to stick to the classic recipe and not experiment if you’re making your own. Cooking is largely about being experimental and creative and seeing what works, which often results in stumbling upon a brand new favorite.
Egg roll wrappers have a neutral flavor, which means you can fill them with anything you want, from chicken, pork or beef and Asian vegetables and seasonings to something different such as tuna, cheese and pineapple. Cream cheese, crab and green onion is another tasty filling idea.
Now this recipe is completely different. It takes the basic egg roll wrappers and fills them with the most amazing peach cobbler filling. They’re baked until crispy and golden brown and the warm, sweet peach filling is just amazing. Perhaps this will soon become your new favorite dessert.
