When it comes to comfort food, nothing hits quite like a creamy, cheesy spaghetti casserole. This recipe takes classic spaghetti and elevates it with the smooth richness of cream cheese, making it a dish that feels both indulgent and homey. It’s the kind of meal that fills the kitchen with irresistible aromas, drawing everyone to the table before it’s even done baking. Perfect for busy weeknights, casual family dinners, or potlucks, this casserole is simple to make yet delivers a depth of flavor that will have everyone asking for seconds.

Why do I love this recipe?
I love this spaghetti casserole because it combines the best of two worlds: the comforting familiarity of spaghetti and the creamy, tangy richness of cream cheese. The cream cheese adds a velvety texture that binds all the ingredients together, creating a warm, luscious casserole that’s both filling and flavorful. It’s also incredibly forgiving—you can mix in your favorite vegetables, swap cheeses, or even add leftover meats, making it a versatile recipe for any weeknight.

Serving suggestions
This casserole is perfect on its own but pairs wonderfully with a crisp green salad or steamed vegetables to add freshness and balance. For a more decadent meal, serve it alongside garlic bread or toasted baguette slices. It’s ideal for serving family-style straight from the baking dish, letting everyone scoop their favorite portion.

Storage & freezing
Leftovers store beautifully in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. To reheat, simply warm individual portions in the microwave or the entire casserole in a preheated oven at 350°F until heated through. This casserole also freezes well—wrap tightly in foil and store in the freezer for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating for best results.

Variations of the recipe
The beauty of this casserole is its adaptability. Add cooked sausage, ground beef, or shredded chicken for a meaty twist. Incorporate vegetables like spinach, bell peppers, or mushrooms to make it more hearty and nutritious. For extra cheesiness, sprinkle mozzarella or parmesan on top before baking. You can even experiment with different pasta shapes, such as penne or rotini, for a fun twist.

This spaghetti casserole with cream cheese is the ultimate comfort food: easy to make, customizable, and deliciously creamy. Whether you’re feeding a family or meal prepping for the week, this dish is guaranteed to become a go-to favorite.
