And there you have it: the perfect recipe for a family dinner or a special occasion. But also you can bring it to a potluck and amaze your family and friends. They will enjoy the excellent flavor, thinking that you put too much effort while you spent only 14 minutes on the prep process.

What makes this recipe so unique?

The combination of seasoned beef, provolone cheese, and a creamy layer on top makes this recipe unique. All those layers strike the perfect balance between creamy and meaty. It takes only 15 minutes to assemble the baked Philly cheesesteak; the remaining is the baking time. There you have it: a decadent dinner for those busy weeknights or a delicious casserole to share with your guests.

Can I substitute ground beef?

Yes, you can go with the house that suits your preferences. Feel free to switch the ground beef with ground turkey, chicken, or pork for a slightly different version. However, don’t forget to adjust the cooking time. Fry your chosen meat until thoroughly cooked.

What to serve it with?

The hearty baked Philly cheesesteak has a vibrant and creamy flavor profile, so pair it with light and fresh options. A nice crispy green salad with light dressing pairs nicely with the protein-rich meal. Glazed carrots and steamed broccoli or other options for a complete meal. Also, you can serve it as a standalone dish.
