Preparing fresh homemade bread doesn’t have to be a chore. This recipe breaks down the steps and makes the process simple. Are you ready to improve your baking skills? Let’s start with the classics!
What makes this recipe so unique?
The taste of comfort and tradition make this recipe unique. It uses quick-rising yeast to speed up the process, so your fresh bread will be ready within a couple of hours. Otherwise, you would have to wait for the dough to rise overnight.
How to store it?
The fluffy bread with a golden brown crust is exceptionally delicious when still warm. If your family doesn’t eat it in one meal, store it in a sealed container or ziplock bag. We like to place the leftover pieces in the bread drawer to preserve the freshness. But also you can store it in the fridge. Ensure not to leave your bread open in the air since it will be stale quickly. Homemade loaves don’t have preservatives to keep them fresh, so you might want to pay attention to have your slice fresh for the next meal.
What to serve it with?
Serve the white bread with hearty soups and stews, allowing the fluffiness to soak up the aromas. Prepare delicious sandwiches with thinly sliced meats and flavorful cheese.
In case the bread goes stale, use it for making homemade French toast topped with jam. Whether it is the meal’s star or a humble side, the white bread compliments a wide range of culinary delights.
